Slave Writing
The question I have picked to write about is "Tom Weylin believes Dana is trouble. In what ways is Dana dangerous to the way of life in the Weylin household?"

Tom Weylin believes Dana is trouble to the Weylin household and she is. Dana is a very educated slave. Dana knows how to read and write and that is a real big threat to slave owners. What makes Tom Weylin even more afraid is that Dana is smarter then him and will start teaching other slaves to read and write and that will cause all slaves to rebel against their masters.

The only way a slave can have some sort of freedom is by having a freedom pass from their plantations. With Dana having the education she has she can write freedom passes for all the slaves, which could leave to all the slaves realizing theirs no reason to staying at the Weylin plantation besides for shelter and food.
