Blog 4

The blog entry, which makes me extremely proud, is blog #3 “Bitch”. I am very proud of that blog entry because that was the first time I really understood a poem in such detail. I never would have figured there was so much meaning all being a little poem. But have learned there is so much to say and talk about a poem of what’s going on in it and the message behind it.

What I have learned doing all the poem activities we’ve covered in class and out is how many messages there are in a poem. I never knew how to read a poem and understand but these activities have really helped me understand and grasp the message in the poem.

Working with my house members for the first time was a great experience. The first time I ever really understood the true meanings and messages of a poem was with my house members and I thank them for that. Since it was the first time we as house members were ever teamed up we didn’t really exchange any words until each of us were doing with the activity of explaining what’s going on in the poem. After we were all finish we started sharing with one another and has realized how much we were all learning for one another’s answers. It was a great thing and I would defiantly do the activity again.

I have learned all my housemates have a different style for their blogs and have their own view on poems and what they mean.
